IPC MIDI beta1

I don’t know if this will work or will be viable, but it doesn’t hurt to try, so I decided to make the experiment.

It consists of two VST’s, a midi transmitter and a midi receiver, which will allow you to send and receive midi between different hosts, even with different architectures ( x86 or x64 ).

So if you have several soundcards in your pc ( or a card with multiclient audio drivers ) and like the idea, I invite you to test this:

  1. Except from being VST’s – what makes this different to virtual Midi patch cables?

    • It should be the same thing, I guess… 🙂 except if your host does not support midi out.
